Bitmain’s Antminer S9SE Available for Purchase, Claimed to be More Profitable

On June 18, Bitmain, the world’s leading bitcoin mining hardware manufacturer, launched its latest mining model, the Antminer S9SE, which promises low-cost performance among its Antminer S series.

According to the company’s official website, the Antminer S9SE can mine SHA256-BASED cryptocurrencies and offer a maximum hash rate of 16.45TH/second.

With the price of $351, it is categorized as the entry model in the Antminer S9 series, with its hash rate and power efficiency fall short of the S17 machines and higher than S9j, while it offers similar features in stability and heat dissipation.

According to Bitmain, they are 3 most advanced BTC and BCH miners under the SHA256. The Antminer S17 comes in two variants, a 56 TH/s and a 53 TH/s model, with two mining modes. Both models operate at 45 J/TH under the normal mode, while the low-power mode operates at 42 J/TH.

Its power consumption efficiency as its biggest improvement over previous S models. Equipped with the 180 chips, it promises more income for users at its advertised 80J/TH energy efficiency ratio.

The Antminer S9SE  is currently available for purchase on Bitmain’s official website, with its shipping time from July 21 to 31, 2019.
